Matter Chicago, 60654

On Tuesday, September 29, BreakingVoices.com @StartupCity Chicago streamed live a panel discussion on Healthcare Tech investing hosted by Crain’s Chicago Business blogger John Pletz. The panel discussion took place at MATTER Chicago’s Health Tech Business incubator.

The panel discussed questions investors ask entrepreneurs, offered suggestions for trends in the health IT sector, and shared their stories on investments made to improve health care with technology.

Although the field of medical device investments are shifting to more health services, the panelists shared three most important questions investors ask entrepreneurs. 1. What is the problem? 2. How are you solving it? How will you make money?

Moreover, from 2011 to 2014, Illinois saw the most growth in overall deal volume of any state.
